The area attracts so many fish that it makes me look like some kind of phenomenal fishing pro. The truth is,after fishing the area since 1991, I have learned the marsh and the river system surrounding Venice,I know the patterns of the fish, and I check out the weather conditions, so I can set you up to catch fish. I really enjoy taking folks out to catch the Red Fish (also called red fishing) and Speckled Trouts. If you are a beginner-no problem, I will teach you how to get the fish hooked and netted. If you have experience, great, you can probably show me a thing or two that you may have learned fishing somewhere else in the world. Capt. Shawn is not going to get mad at anyone because they missed a fish. The fishing trip is about you enjoying yourself, it's not about me.
